Rachel’s Challenge

Tuesday, July 13th, 2010

WOW! I first was introduced to Rachel’s Challenge in Hollywood in March at an Academy Awards event. They had a booth setup next to ours. They had Haley Chase from Hanna Montana with them, and she was great. Last week I was in Denver, Colorado visiting family. I knew Rachel’s Challenge was based in that area, so I re-connected with them. I visited their facility and was fortunate enough to hear more of the story. Rachel Scott was the first student to be killed in the Columbine shootings. Her story and the legacy of her vision lives on in a POWERFUL way. Her goal in life was to set off a chain reaction for simple acts of kindness and positivity. You HAVE to learn more about this organization and the good things they do. Please take a few minutes and watch this video. Then look at the rest of their website. Prepare to be inspired! We like them so much, that we are choosing them as one of the charities we will support with a portion of our proceeds. Check this out:

They did a great job, and we appreciate it a lot! Hopefully this will help us get the word out and encourage others to follow their dream! Thanks to Ranard Brown and Maggie Deller for helping with their experiences. They inspire me!

My Dream Is Possible

This was a lot of fun. The team from My Dream is Possible came to our office last week to video tape an interview with me. The sole purpose was to have us share our dream so it may ijnspire other people. They do this with everyone they interview. Here is a link to the interview.
