Hello Pants! fans. We received the following email today from a charitable organization in the Charlotte, NC area. There are so many great organizations out there, and I wanted to make you all aware of this one. The email reads:

Hello Kevin,

Most people in the Lake Norman area are not aware of The Bin – located in Huntersville – 100% volunteer run, we accept gently used furniture and household items and, in turn, give them to clients referred by local social service agencies such as Ada Jenkins and Solomon House. Once qualified, clients are given a referral form and come to The Bin to receive free items such as mattresses, tables, chairs, couches, appliances, kitchen and bath items, etc.  All donated items to The Bin go directly to local families in need. We may read more about us on Facebook or our web site www.the-bin.org We have a furniture drive this Saturday morning, January 30th 9am-1pm.

We are about ready to offer shirts for kids. To start off, they will be offered in white, but colors will be added very soon! Kids love to wear “Guy” on their clothing, and the shirts look good on them. So, if you are looking for motivational clothing, optimistic clothing, fun T-shirts, give us a look. Our website has had nearly 40,000 hits this month so far.

Pants!

We hope you are having a great year so far. Good economy, bad economy? We are just looking forward to selling a lot of shirts this year so we can donate as much as possible to our charities. One of our charities has been very busy, with the needs in Haiti, and they are Soles 4 Souls. I spoke with them a few days ago, and they are busy gathering and distributing shoes for the people of Haiti. My son is going to setup a box at his school and head up the collecting of shoes.
