I got a chance to hang out with The Ramski’s in Nashville last week! What a fabulous singing duo! They shared with me several samples of the songs coming out on their new CD early 2010, and WOW! Outstanding to say the least. Very talented, and already making a splash in Nashville. They were kind enough to model a couple of our products. The sweatshirt hoodies, and the “Women’s Sheer Jersey Longer Length Scoop Neck” have been good sellers, and they liked them as well! Photos will be posted soon. Today Get Your Pants On! met with Soles 4 Souls in Nashville. What a great organization! In 5 years, they have distributed nearly 6 million pair of shoes world-wide! We are looking forward to developing a relationship with them. They take shoes from people, retailers and wholesalers and distribute them. See previous post.

Tomorrow we are doing a photo shoot with the Ramski Duo. Mindy and Mellisa are fun people, and very talented. Keep your eyes on these ladies! They signed with a record label and have a new CD coming out in January 2010. They will be modeling some cool GYPO clothing.

This is kind of fun. There is a great organization out there that facilitates the donation of shoes to aid the hurting worldwide. We contacted them to see if we could gain some wisdom in getting our positive message out. They graciously invited us to tour their facility and speak with each staff member for their input. Working on the details now, but looking forward to visiting with them and am thankful for the opportunity! Check out their website and this excerpt from it below.

The idea behind gifts of shoes is nothing new to the Soles4Souls team, as they coordinated relief efforts for the Asian Tsunami and Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, netting over 1 Million pairs donated for these disasters. The team originally operated as www.katrinashoes.org with several churches partnering in the collection and distribution of footwear.”
